We are delighted to have Denny Emerson as our keynote speaker for Saturday evening.

Once again we are featuring a Silent Auction in support of the Sally Swift Scholarship Fund. We are looking for donations of items, gift certificates and services so if you (or someone you know) would like to contribute please contact Sam Morrison wlcmhome@megalink.net. We will be adding our auction items to the list on this site as donations come in.

Again we’ll have our popular table of gently-used books, videos, DVD’s, CD’s and other items in support of our Education Fund. Please bring or send items to add to this sale.

Knight Equestrian Bookswill have their mobile store at the Symposium for us to get in some shopping between presentations. They have become a fixture at our Symposium and always have a great assortment of excellent equestrian books. If there is a book that you’ve been looking for, contact KEB prior to the Symposium and Janet will bring it with her.

The Quality Inn has offered us an excellent rate of $69 per night per room single or double occupancy including an excellent hot breakfast buffet! Most rooms have two double beds - check when you book your room. To get this special rate you must tell them when you book that you are attending the Centered Riding Symposium and you must book before October 20, 2005 .

Directions:

By air: fly into Bradley International Airport in Hartford , Connecticut or the airport in Manchester , NH . They are both about 1-½ hours from Brattleboro . Thomas Transport, 1-800-526-8143, an excellent limousine service, takes passengers from either airport to their destination. Rental car services are available at both airports and in Brattleboro at Enterprise Rent-A-Car 1 (802) 257-4700.

By car: take Exit 3 off Interstate 91. Go around the traffic circle and head North on Route 5 ( Putney Rd ). The Quality Inn is about ½ mile up the road on the left.

By Train or Bus: Amtrak (train) 1-800-872-7245 and Greyhound Bus Lines (802) 254-6066 also services Brattleboro where you can get taxi service (802) 254-5411.
