Centered Riding® Instructors abide by an agreement to teach Centered Riding® in a manner consistent with the methods developed by the founder Sally Swift and Centered Riding®, Inc.

Centered Riding® Instructors attain their level through a combination of clinic attendance and peer appriasal. While Centered Riding®, Inc. is an educational organization, not a certifying organization, it is the only organization from which authentic Centered Riding® Instructors graduate.
